Ominext Officially Achieves CMMI Level 3 Certification: Elevating Software Development Capabilities and Standardizing Processes to International Standards
We are proud to announce that Ominext – the core IT division of OmiGroup – has officially achieved CMMI Level 3 certification, one of the world’s most prestigious benchmarks for assessing management capability and process improvement in software development.
Developed by the CMMI Institute at Carnegie Mellon University (USA), CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) is a framework for evaluating organizational maturity in building and implementing software and technology service processes. Level 3 – “Defined” indicates that the organization has established well-structured, repeatable, and continuously improving processes across the enterprise.
Achieving CMMI Level 3 certification reflects the result of systematic investment, professional expertise, and a continuous improvement mindset across the entire Ominext team. This milestone not only affirms Ominext’s capability in software development aligned with international standards but also demonstrates the company’s strong commitment to building efficient, consistent, and scalable operational processes across the organization.
As the core technology unit of OmiGroup, responsible for designing and implementing healthcare technology solutions in Japan, Korea, and Vietnam, Ominext is progressively standardizing its internal systems in line with global standards. This contributes to enhancing product quality, optimizing implementation efficiency, and strengthening the company’s ability to expand into international markets—particularly as the healthcare industry undergoes rapid digital transformation.
Previously, OmiGroup had also attained a series of key certifications, such as ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO 9001:2015 for information security, quality, and efficiency in products and services. Notably, ISO 13485:2016, a specialized quality management standard for medical products and solutions, underscores OmiGroup’s methodical and in-depth approach to developing internationally standardized healthcare systems.
