Antibiotic resistance monitoring system - A small contribution has a great meaning.
May 16, 2019

Antibiotic resistance is a global health security issue.

The World Health Organization - WHO has issued a statement "if we do not act now, we will no longer have medicine" to warn about the abuse of antibiotics. According to the statement, if the current abuse of antibiotics continues, by the year 2050, 10 million people will die from antibiotic resistance every year, more than most deaths of most Other diseases like cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease ...

Just type the keyword "antibiotic resistance" into Google will see a lot of articles about this issue, because Vietnam is classified as the country with the highest rate of antibiotic resistance in the world due to the use of anti-drug indiscriminate birth on people and pets.

In April 2016, under the presidency of a Japanese landlord, 12 Asian health ministers held a seminar on this issue and signed the Tokyo treaty on control of antibiotic resistance. Our Minister of Health also attended and had a presentation, expressing Vietnam's strong commitment, coordinating with international units, dealing with antibiotic resistance.
1, Universalizing knowledge and training
2, Investigating and monitoring the status of transformation
3, Preventing and managing infectious and viral diseases
4, Manage the proper use of antibiotics
5, Research and development of new antibiotics.
6, International cooperation

In the action program No. 2, with the motto "can not be visualized by actual data, it is not supervised and managed", the Japanese government has built a national monitoring information system on antibiotic resistance. The system is deployed nationwide to collect sufficient data on antibiotic resistance status at all health facilities throughout Japan.

In Action Plan 6, Japan works closely with WHO to provide national information on antibiotic resistance through ONE HEALTH approach - A HEALTH APPROACH. Japan's ONE HEALTH system provides complete data on antibiotic resistance of each bacterium and visually demonstrates that data.

Ominext is proud to be the developer of both systems for the Japanese government. Ominext desires and is also trying to find a way to bring this system to Vietnam, hoping to contribute a small amount of effort to improve antibiotic resistance in Vietnam.
